Our region is part of The United Schutzhund Clubs of America (USA). We have several full member clubs through-out Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and New Mexico. You can see a list of the clubs by clicking on the Schutzhund Training Clubs.

Our members are dedicated to preserving the working aspects of their chosen breed, by participating in Schutzhund (SchH) / Vielseitigkeits Pruefungfuer Gebrauchshunde (VPG) and Breed Surveys.

Our sport is recognized around the world as the principal tool in breeding correct dogs for many different arenas, such as police dogs, drug dogs, bomb dogs, search and rescue dogs, therapy dogs, guide dogs, and hearing dogs as well as many other areas.
